
Playing Cards
Project Overview:
For students to learn how to create an image using only the four colors only (not including white).
For students to further hone their skills for meticulous work.
For students to learn to apply some simple concepts of design and type use to create a visually striking picture playing card.
Students are to make a visually striking picture playing card (King, queen, Jack) that could be found in a 52 card playing deck.
All waterbased paint media are acceptable for the image as well as colored pencil.
The image should deviate from original design of picture playing card used as a reference.
The card should be readable even if it was dealt upside down.
Card must be hearts, spades, diamonds, or clubs.
