Master Mosaic Collage Assignment

by the end of the first week you need to have your image selected,  drawn on the board and started adhering the pieces.

This project will take a long time.  Don't procrastinate!

Mosaic: This assignment will take 2 weeks.  You will be creating a mosaic collage in one color (monochromatic) or local color  of a master artwork or a section of a master artwork.  Check out  for a help finding master artwork  Metropolitan Museum Timeline

 Part 1: Find an image of a master artwork and choose a section of the image.  Draw the image on the mat board given to you in class or on a durable flat board You may want to color the board before you start.  Leave a border of at least 1/2 inch on all sides.  Choose your color and collect magazine clippings that have that color in it. Start assembling your collage. You will finish assembling the for collage next week's assignment.
