The following is a watercolor drawing created from a magazine photo.   The original was a color photo.  The drawing was made by layering the violet hues from the lightest to the darkest in successive layers.  Keep in mind the rules of watercolor.
  1. Start with the lightest things
  2. "   the largest areas
  3. "   the furthest objects
